A wonderful reflective poem from Wendell Berry entitled "How to be a poet" is a fantastic foundation for an art curriculum. The last of three stanzas reads as follows:
Accept what comes from silence.
Make the best you can of it.
Of the little words that come
out of the silence, like prayers
prayed back to the one who prays,
make a poem that does not disturb

I have dragged this typewriter around for more than 50 years. I found it in an antique store when I was in college. It's still fully useable, except that it's REALLY hard to find ribbons. Basically, it's just another object to dust. But it is a beautifully made object. The basic shapes and perspective were blocked in with a 2H pencil, then I used a Sakura 005 micron pen to do the contour drawing.
We create also drawings and paintings for specials orders. New drawing for the very nice client: Mrs. Elisabeth's dogs.

My Apple ii. Unless you've had one, you won't really understand. Even has a whole 64KB with the language card. TG Products joystick with a ribbon cable connector. No cassettes, it's 5.25" floppies! Amdek color monitor. This ended up looking like an advertisement from an old computer magazine.
Reminds me of a Buddhist proverb: Patiently I will bear harsh words as the elephant bears arrows on the battlefield. Words are powerful. They stir emotions. We are the managers of our emotions. (2B pencil on 130mm x 90mm paper) I've never watched Peaky Blinders, but whilst doing some casual sketching, I came up with this orc character and so called it "Freaky Blinder" due to its flat cap and cigarette.
this is a gift for my online friend! their a trans boy and asexual, so I decided to incorporate that into my gift! It's just a little thing I did for my friend lol.
