Continuing the theme of “animal on colored background” but you know. The heart wants what it wants

Horizontal pupils are fascinating. Have not figured out the function but did find out that Newts are able to regenerate limbs - including the lens of its eye!

Forever my favorite since Pikemon Silver. He has a special place in my heart (and soon in my skin as a Tattoo)

Pencil Drawing

Acrylic gouache on MDF, approx 4x6". Part of an experiment: what if I painted the inside of a picture frame (ie, the inside of the backing board)? Result: it actually works really well!
