I had an idea to create illustrations of fruit set in autumn 2017, and have been working on the realization of this idea throughout February/March 2018. In all, I have created 11 illustrations: apple, apricot, banana, cherry, grape, lemon, orange, pear, plum, tomato, watermelon. Using rapidograph to form the shape, I am coloring my works digitally in Adobe Photoshop. Here is an apricot!

I was listening to a band called "London Grammar" when doing the lettering/typography on the right page.
As always ink straight on the sketchbook paper.

Experimenting today with an oil transfer drawing technique. The red and purple lines are oil drawn/transferred to hot press 140 pound watercolor paper with watercolor applied. The oil resists the watercolor.
Painting and drawing with my grandchildren today showing them how to allow a painting to emerge from a watercolour and plastic wrap background. This visiting Angel emerged.
A Valentine sketch I did for my wife. The image is inspired by the classic scene, (from the original old campy "Adam West" Batman movie), where Batman is running with a bomb.
This doodle is totally rad!...or at least I think it is. Drawn traditionally with pencil and ink and colored digitally with purples, yellows, and pinks.
