I just finished my very first book illustration gig. It was a ton of work and the client is really happy! Just a few years ago I never would have dreamed I'd illustrate a book. Yay me!

© YLYA YOD I had an idea to create illustrations of fruit set in autumn 2017, and have been working on the realization of this idea throughout February/March 2018. In all, I have created 11 illustrations: apple, apricot, banana, cherry, grape, lemon, orange, pear, plum, tomato, watermelon. Using rapidograph to form the shape, I am coloring my works digitally in Adobe Photoshop. Here is an apple!

Yay! It's my Birthday! (Toon Link Windwaker style!). Hard to believe I'm 35 already :o (Oct. 29, 1986). All the seminarians sang happy birthday to me in english when I got my morning coffee. heh. If you get the reference in the title, yay you. If you didn’t, don’t feel bad, because I only discovered Billie in May. I am a devoted fan, as you can see. Anyway, I used sharpie, alcohol marker, and maybe a little too much pencil and ink...

Trying some new things out. Yay
