I'm having fun with this one!

When I was planning this pattern I really wanted it to have a dark background. I built it in photoshop using hand drawn marker flowers but when I try to place them on a dark background it looks ridiculous!

I visited my 6 year old's class las week to talk about what I do. They each made a little drawing and I got to put it tougher into this super fun pattern.

I've been separating out some floral arrangements and experimenting with colors.

I had fun playing with some new markers last night.

I think I'm getting the hang of painting florals with gouache. It helped to decide on a palette and pre-mix the colors.

I could play with the recolor artwork tool all day long!

I'm playing around with a new color palette on this one. I may try a few now that I know about the recolor tool in illustrator!

I just watched a Skillshare video about vectorizing watercolors. soooo fun!
