Artist and author, her contemporary abstract portraits explore the roles of women, in particular homemakers, in society. Her books thematically center on communication, encouraging personal integrity. She graduated from Claremont Graduate University’s MFA program. She received her MS in Communication from University of Portland and a BFA in Design from Carnegie-Mellon University. Creating graphic designs as a means to attract corporate profit early in her career, plus years of honing social communication skills while raising her children, she pulls these opposing ideologies into her work.
