Vi Hello, my name is Vi,
and I'm a doodle addict.

In my free time I sometimes like to draw, mostly for the story I am writing as a hobby (it's about an orphan boy who finds his forever family). That's why most of my drawings are centered around the same characters. I also love to look at other people's art. Anyway. Thanks for reading! I'm glad to be here. :)

Stone Church in Winter

Painted original (watercolor on watercolor canvas) about 15 years ago. Wasn't satisfied and so I put away forever. Except, not forever. Have started a project of revamping old paintings that were not quite right, and that now seem salvageable. This was the first. Worked on it for a few minutes a few days a week for a few months, never going too far. Goal was to improve not recreate. Kinda having fun with this new project. Artists tend to do this, take a new tact, find a new route.

The Black Road Along The Horizon

I did this mostly from the imagination. The perspective is a bit off,but I still like it. Its of a peat bog in Ireland. A peat bog is similare to a marsh except the mud or soil solidifys, and then it can be cut for fuel.

I'm still pretty young and just beginning to learn art, so if you have any tips for me I would love to hear them. :)

No. 9 il Cavallino

Seahorse are of the genus Hippocampus, from the Ancient Greek, hippos meaning "horse" and kampos meaning "sea monster". Seahorses are not great swimmers so they spend a lot of time with their tail wrapped around stationery objects.
