A peek into the incredible world of Digital Art on Doodle Addicts.
The austral pygmy owl (Glaucidium nana) or Chuncho is a species of owl in the family Strigidae. It is found in Argentina and Chile.
This has been going around the Internet recently, so I gave it a try myself. I experimented a little with my no-line pastel style to create my own version of a frame from the Sailor Moon anime.
I really wanted to capture the expression and general feeling of the original while still making it look like my own original art. I hope you dig it.
I worked on this while streaming. You can watch and hang out while I draw here: www.twitch.tv/ninjatron

Study of plants, flowers and hands
I've been doing a lot of virtual table-top roleplaying games with social distancing. This is my 2nd level fighter from a 2nd edition AD&D game I'm playing in currently.
Looking forward to maybe someday hanging out with pals again...

This started as something I was doing for fun, but turned into a very strenuous exercise on how to work with this many light sources.
Digital painting study.
Drawing of a friend, or maybe a ghost, or maybe I AM the ghost, or maybe
Trying out some limited palette.
"Contemplation of the Jump" - drawn & colored in Escape Motions Rebelle.
My drawings are pretty random, but after I make them I think about them a bit... like... what is that girl in that cave room thinking and why is he going to jump?
I should probably know the answers... but I don't.
I wanted to do something with some deep shading because I hadn't done it before and she turned out a tad bit creepier than I had intended but the outcome was good in the end. I really like how her hair came out because painting hair is the bane of my existence. I think she came out great.
