I like to draw stuff that puts a big smile on the front of your head.
I specialize in cartoons, comics, digital art, doodles, illustration, mixed media art, pencil, sketchbook.
Painted Zip disk. Mixed media. I love old retro stuff and found rejected objects. It's hard to believe how fast zip, floppy, jaz, etc. disks became yesterdays technology. It's about time these old disks found a new purpose and some respect.
Day 8 Inktober 2017 - crooked.
Custom Vans Sk8-Hi sneakers Vincent Michael Gallery "Sneaker Show" in Philadelphia. (note: gallery since closed down)
The daring rescue of the helpless space jellies from a pesky rope nebula. Moleskine sketch.
Day 15 of Inktober2017 - Mysterious.
Here's a floppy disk I recently painted. I love bringing old, discarded and forgotten stuff back to life.
The town gets a little crazy when King Kong shows up.
Moleskine spread. If I don't get it out on paper, my brain will explode and who wants that mess to deal with? Stay safe. Sketch regularly.
Was just hanging out with my wife and son in the living room last night and this spilled into my Moleskine.
"What's the Buzz"?
Bringing old, discarded and forgotten stuff back to life!
The Tree of Unspeakable Goodness - Moleskine sketch/painting
Here is my submission to the 10th anniversary Plushform show at Rotofugi Gallery. I was invited by Shawn @shawnimals to participate in this fun show. He is the creator of the Plushform DIY plush figure being customized by 40 artists at Rotofugi, a designer toy store gallery in Chicago. The original Plushform show was in 2008. I was waiting for their official announcement before posting my final so I could link people to the site for more info. I was told they are working on it and will announce soon. This will be for sale at the show.
Fishy stuff going on with Bradshaw lately. Summertime must be getting close.
When I saw this vintage Boston Terrier pull toy I just had to illustrate it. My favorite nickname for Annabelle is LuLu. I hope Barky doesn’t mind.
Today was a day to go crazy in my Moleskine and then continue it on my iPadPro. It was so much fun to just let my brain take me for a ride and was pure therapy on a day where a lot of crap was coming from many directions.
Day 6 #inktober2017 - Sword. Yikes! Someone is feeling some aggression after what him through on day 2. You can follow me on http://instagram.com/jimbradshaw to see the all of my inktober posts and more.
Day 5 of #inktober2017 - Long. I didn't think I had the time to do this but can't seem to stop any way. Who needs sleep.
Original graphite drawing. 6x4 on bristol vellum.
I felt like drawing birdhouses and this came out in my large Moleskine.
When my robots are happy, I'm happy.
I'm going to try to remember Throw Back Thursday. It's fun for me to go back and try to remember what was going on in my mind that made me doodle what I doodled on that day.
