On t-4 days before the shelter in place order came down, I went to the library and checked out a bunch of books for my son just in case the libraries closed (the libraries closed the next day). Two of them are on tsunamis, which my son is obsessed with. We were reading them this morning, and they put Bali on my mind. This voice kept singing, "jungle, jungle, more jungle!" while I was drawing this.
Pencil drawing I did of my family’s dog, Kiera. This was done for my neighbour’s birthday as a gift who is like a third grandmother in the family - she’s always loved Kiera. There were tears when she opened this ❤️

The silver lining of this shelter in place is my daily afternoon walk to put my son down for a nap in his stroller. In our previously scheduled life, he would fall asleep on the drive home from school. These are non native eucalyptus and my beloved favorite tree, a Monterey pine, on a shady side trail of Golden Gate Park.
Hi there, I wanted to uploade this art work as the quarantine quarter submission.. But due to my harsh luck the time was out...and I was late by 2-3mins...I was extremely sad about it but then thought to upload it on my profile only...so this is basically a drawing of me and my family enjoying time in this quarantine period :) and please please please tell any kind of lack in my this drawing... Homegrown elephant garlic drawing done in graphite pencil (H and HB). I enjoy drawing little roots and entanglements---following each one to its logical conclusion. A little OCD, I know.
