Hey everyone! This is an interactive website I did for my BFA thesis this year. The piece explores the struggles I’ve faced as a black, lesbian woman. This piece features events that happened when I was in an unhealthy relationship in high school, from late-2016 to mid-2017. The work combines CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML with digitized images that I drew on paper, using black colored pencil. I'd really appreciate some feedback and critique for this work. This is the amazing work i dedicated to my guardian with his sigil. He has always been there for me and helped me, and often tells me dates that turn out to be accurate for something that ends up coming along or manifesting. Done mostly with oil bar, this is more akin to a sketch than a painting. It's great when you can get loose with the process and end up with something that looks like a finished work.

After completing “Moody Pumpkins” the foreground looked interesting so I removed the pumpkins modified the remaining foreground and added the trees and sky. Tree colors were selected from the foreground and other palettes.
