Painted at some ungodly hour on the 28th of February, 2017 – love the textures

This a figurative inspired abstract sketch using layers of pencil crayon. I wanted to express an individuality and togetherness at the same time. I also wanted to experiment with space, shape and depth.

The background of this painting is applied with paint rollers. The flying creatures were made from paint sprinkles. It was painted on an 18x12” canvas sheet.

It’s impressive what a couple minutes abstract sketch is capable of. Ink (Pigma Graphic 1) and watercolor on plain paper.

I've missed posting on Doodle addicts and checking out everyone's work. My paid work took over last week. I started this doodle in the beginning of the week and it became more of a "pen painting."

I have another cat called Donut who’s fluffy and has to have a lot of attention. I used black ink, white gel pen, graphite pencil 2B and Crayola crayons.

Français : L’Appropriationnisme ou le « Remake » est un concept simple. En effet, il suffit de reprendre le travail d’un artiste et signer la nouvelle production de son nom. Il ne s’agit, en aucun cas, de copier l’œuvre comme pourrait le faire un faussaire. Il ne s’agit pas non plus de plagier l’œuvre. En ce qui me concerne, j’utilise l’œuvre célèbre d’un artiste reconnu. En réutilisant une œuvre originale préexistante et célèbre, condition sine qua non, je propose de rendre un hommage. Il ne s’agit en aucun cas d’un manque d’inspiration surtout lorsque l’on sait maintenant que : « l’art naît de l’art et non de la nature » : Ernst Gombrich. Dans cette série, j’ai voulu revisiter des œuvres célèbres en utilisant ma technique graphique de l’éloge de l’approximation mettant en évidence la problématique de la défaillance et de la mémoire vaporeuse. The freshness of morning withdrew in front of the warm rays of the sun. Below the meadow was stretched by which a dozen young dragons rode along and across, skillfully changed the direction of movement and twisted with their long bodies, they played hunting. Then I remember that I did not do some important jobs yesterday, Čirilo Bum will definitely see it when we get home. It spoils my mood a bit, and I pulled out of the baskets a few of the dried sausages that the old wizard worked so well.
