Doodle animals series - pen and ink

My large art 40"x60" at a Italian bar in Astoria, NY.

Cat is actually called Sammie but for unknown reason I started calling him Samsam. My oc Yasumi that’s my bff’s alter-ego.

I showed this in black and white first and have the color version finished now.

I love to start with 3 boxes, and then see what comes out as I fill them in.

Took some doodle requests off Patreon and got some goodies!

In this photo I drew two Betta fish, a clock and a female in a dark background. Drawing this picture was more of a self expression. The two betta fish expressed conflict; the clock expressed running out of time and the female I guess would represent myself. I was in a dark period while drawing this, but happy to say, I’ve managed to pull through my obstacles =)
