This is the second oil painting I have ever made, and the first time I have attempted to create mountains, trees and bushes. I used just 3 colours for this: Raw Umber, Phthalo Blue and Titanium White. I learned a lot and had tonnes of fun at the same time.

When observing, it is easy to see an image erected when people are working in the field, along with the early morning time, so it has created a beautiful picture. Each object in the picture has its own highlight, full of attractive looks. Although it is a picture of a simple landscape about people in the countryside, every little detail is meticulously painted by the author. This painting is owned by the author "Uilliam Potter". This was the best sketchbook I ever owned. It appeared mysteriously and within a year, was gone to the wind. These are the back pages where I was exploring different water and alcohol marker brushes and ballpoint on the amazing vellum-like paper.
Charcoal and graphite. I drew this while standing in the woods for over an hour. The light kept changing as the sun was going down. Fortunately, I was able to capture some dramatic shadows!
This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. Going all in with practicing bird anatomy (found myself seriously lacking in it). My brain can be quite a B**** when it comes to anatomy, because I always seek to "bring characters to life". Here, I was practicing on the body underneath the feathers and fluff... And end up using the shape of a chicken as a reference... XD
