A very random doodle I did for warm-up while working on commissions. I don't think it helped much other than working with little line work and stark lighting.
"She missed her stop". A drawing I did based on a character made on a certain internet forum. This is the first time I used a photograph as an environment for my doodles, and it charmed me enough to want to do more of them. The friendly squish-walrus never means to squish things, but his permanently outstretched arms and difficulty slowing down once he’s gained momentum means that anything in his path is pretty much screwed. Most squish-ees forgive him easily though, because he’s just so darn nice.
It’s a work in progress, I haven’t started on shadowing yet. The armor overall is Mark V, but the helmet is Mark IV. Inspiration for this came from how 343 mentioned Halo Infinite will be taking a lot of stuff from Halo Combat Evolved, which has been my favorite. With a little anime mixed in as the face. My favorite part about this so far is the whole ‘exploration/unknown’ aspect, since Halo CE levels were pretty big and fun to look around. And the landscapes especially inspired this, showing just how much is out there.

Side note, I only just thought about how cruel I was to drop my nephew off in the arctic circle with only a tee shirt. We'll just say it's the north pole and the magic keeps them warm...
I set my eyes on spring onions for the first time in my life after picking up this past Sunday's farm produce box. They were so beautiful! I also found the container of scraps for the compost inspiring as I invented a soup out of my new bounty.
Two charms! I love books about Moomins. And these two are very interesting characters! I really like their story. I drew this art about a week ago. It is based on one of the illustrations of the book by Tove Jansson
Inspired by the symbolism of the cherry blossom flower, which represents beauty and strength, as well as the expression, “Life, Death, and Renewal”, this piece completely embodies this expression, reflecting on the harmonious balance between human and nature. Each unique detail, from the soft elegance of the cherry blossoms, the chaotic nature of the setting, followed by the expression of complete calmness of her delicate features, helps portray the turmoils she once faced, and how she overcame her fears and saw her true beauty.
