This is a colorful mixed media artwork using a black ballpoint pen complemented with a rainbow gradient painted with watercolor paints. I created this artwork on November 11, which is why it's titled "Angel Numbers."
The original sketch came from the prompt ‘organized’ which immediately made me think of my label maker. It grew from there and I first posted it on what happened to be the 25th anniversary of the film Practical Magic! Let me know if you spot the homages…
You know when you start a picture, get sick long enough to get out of the flow and it now feels like an never ending project? Im so done with this one, it doesent help how many flaws im gonna spot when i get better, im SO DONE! If anyone wonder about the motive, its about making sure cinderella dont get poisoned before her wedding. All the paintings done in this style is gonna be about keeping cinderella alive.
Emperor Palpatine - Egg tempera on panel 9x12. This is my 3rd attempt at egg tempera, and I absolutely love the medium. It is a little tricky to get used too, but it is quite flexible ... despite the textbooks on it that are now over 500 years old.
Dare to join this devious dinner? Melvin, Marigold, Morgana and Murial invite you to an evening filled with deathly excitement.
Come and splurge on poisoned candied apples (which far outshine the pathetic apples of the evil queen), dragon roasted bone marrow, the most delicious pumpkin pies, chicken feed pot pies (a family recipe from the famous Baba Yaga herself), or a sinful devil's food cake (thank you, Uncle Mephistopheles).
Maybe, my dear friend, a glass of wine or a vial of fresh, still warm blood will help to wash away all your doubts if to join or not- because what bad can happen with this splendid array of company nestled between the most beautiful blooming wisterias?
Don´t be afraid! They don´t bite - at least not all of them.
