I used brush pen and watercolors. The most challenging part was holding back on excessive pen lines to render the fur, using patches of paint instead. Although I think the background is a bit dark and there a few mistakes, I feel that learned from this.

A few weeks ago I was playing around with color application on the default flat brush in Procreate, and developed a sort of choppy, layered application that I really enjoyed!

It has been a while since my last upload, and also since my last finished thing. My studies aren’t giving me much free time at the moment. This piece was done in graphite. It took me about 6 hours over the course of a few days. I didn’t love how the rider turned out, but this was my first time drawing a rider so I’m not too upset about it ;) Let me know what you think! Constructive criticism is always appreciated! :)
