Thank you for checking my work out. This work is Inspired by an instinct to survive and strive to conquer all obstacles that hold me back in life, especially from my Art. This is pencil drawing on paper then pen work then some editing using android app.
This drawing was done with pen and colored pencil. I wanted to create a self-portrait that could also serve as a profile picture for my art accounts. My other self-portraits tend to be realistic, so I decided to try and depict myself in my own illustrative style instead. My artistic influences for this piece include tattoo styles, pinup art, and art nouveau as well as inspiration taken from some of my favorite portrait artists, Sargent and Rockwell.
My right brain says “huge and kisses her right now, dude !”..but, my left brain says “don't do that! are you crazy?” “Oh my god…What happen here…” my heart was confused and asked me to bring myself back! This is my portrait by the best artist in the whole universe, my daughter. I'll trust all my best to post here every day the random things, my thoughts, and sketches, or even just scribbles from pieces of paper. So nice to meet you all ppl.
Taking this pic was challenging finding the right light for the moon and the stars pop up more imo and my frog was hard to color but I love how the lake came out with the shines from the moon and fireflies. I even took the time to paint some tall grass and reeds in the background ^^ hope you like!
My sister is a writer and I am an artist, so we've teamed up to work on a children's book together. This is a draft of the first page, which will eventually be illustrated with watercolor and digital elements.
