My fiancé's aunt just had a birthday. I asked what she is into for this piece. "She likes Hello Kitty, flamingos, the beach, and volleyball." This is what I came up with.
Some weeks ago my family and I visited my aunt and my cousins. The sun was shining alot in these days and it was so much fun. Exploring the places and spending time with my family and friends felt soo exciting and wonderful. These feelings inspired me for this drawing. Dear Friends , The Great Pumpkin Carve sponsored by the Chad Ford Historical Society is going to be held on the Thursday 18 October 2018 . Live carving is Thursday night, starting at 300PM. There is usually about 70-100 carvers, the creations of these artists are on display in a maze like setting. Other attraction are a hay ride , haunted forest display, food causations venders, live music. The event is Thursday night to Saturday night.

I almost did not participate last year because I was unemployed, and could not afford the entrance fee of $25, but The watercolor artist Andy Smith paid my entrance fee. and my sister paid my gas. Well I am unemployed again, not sure I will have the funds to enter this year. Pray the Good Lord will open the financial door that I will get the money to pay the coast to enter this year. Below are some of the Pumpkins I have carved in the past.

I finally finished this piece for my Aunt. It was based on a goofy picture she sent me. I am pleased with the depth I achieved and can see improvements. I am not most experienced with portraits or anatomy/characters.
I came upon this startling image on the grounds of Ringling Art Museum in Sarasota. Amazing to suddenly see an image of a mythical person looking at you from inside a tree.
