Life has been an absolute hell-hole lately; I often tell myself to cling on; but for what? There will be nothing waiting for me at the end, if I piece things back together. Please do not take any of this seriously. I often can't.

Oh my gosh it has been a really long while since I uploaded ANYTHING on here. Just a random eye sketch I did with a blue crayon, nothing super fancy or anything, but I think it turned out okay looking. Also decided to embellish it with a spade, my personal favorite suit when it comes to cards, I have no idea why, I just like it and thought it would look cool.

Day 18: I have been using an old-style safety razor for about a year now. Changed the blade for the first time and, yowzah, I got cocky with that dull blade.

the two friends love to go to a different place everyday to admire the beautiful view. what they enjoy most about their little ritual is, beeing together. wish you a beautiful day!:)

Sunday afternoon sitting on the porch just doodling. I'd been drawing my neighborhood all day so I stopped and had a beer, and just started in on this.

Anoia is an actual Goddess, and not a Patron Saint, but I really wanted to draw her. Anoia is the Goddess of Things That Get Stuck in Drawers, a minor goddess on the Discworld (by Terry Pratchett - and if you don't know who he is, you should read his books! You can start with Small Gods -it is a standalone in the Discworld world. Or Guards! Guards! is another good choice). When someone rattles a drawer and cries "How can it close on the damned thing but not open with it? Who bought this? Do we ever use it?", even though the person might be genuinely irritated or even exasperated, it is as praise unto Anoia. Faithful Anoians (worshippers of Anoia) purposefully rattle their drawers and complain every day. Anoia also finds objects that roll under other objects and things stuck in sofa cushions, and is considering handling stuck zippers. She eats corkscrews. Her name is clearly derived from "annoy". Anoia she was formerly the volcano goddess Lela. This is technically my 100th post but I definitely have not been posting for 100 days I have missed some days but I am proud that I was able to post something towards art for 100 times, and thts something to be proud of; so I think I’m gonna have to go back and fix some things and figure out what day I’m really on.

I have been watching a lot of sci-fiction lately. Like so many others my age or younger, the weight of global warming sits on my shoulders constantly. I imagined the final trek through a wormhole as someone sees their new solar system for the first time. I enjoy the bright colors and such but wish I conveyed a more bittersweet emotion.

I have been going Disney strong the last few days. It feels soooo good. Its been nice sitting back and watching carefree movies. I was watching Luca when I made this little gal.

Elias Rosenshaw 8/29/2025 Mixed media on toned tan paper. Starting next week, I'm going back to college. I'm very excited for my courses, especially art & writing. It will be a great opportunity to explore my curiosities, improve my art skills, and grow as a person. I will share my art assignments if my instructors allow it. I would also like to write a little about each piece, which may be required for my assignments anyway. Lately, I've been inspired by fantasy & fairytale artwork. I think fantasy & horror will make good focuses for my pre-BFA portfolio. This was a little experiment with a fairytale aesthetic. One of my goals is to use limited art supply sets & swap out colours as they run out. I feel the first colours I picked out fit with aesthetic well. I'm proud of this drawing, especially the dress & the night sky. However, I can see some areas that I should've done differently. I'm not happy with the proportions & foreshortening of the limbs. Also, I shouldn't have used a background colour for the flowers. I added the colour to cover up a smear from the watercolour. I should avoid making large areas of solid colour, especially with my coloured pencils. I am learning & improving.

One rule of thumb I go by, always bring a pen, you never know when you're going to need it for a doodle...

Truth is the mother of virtue. Our pride and our shame turn us into liars. We must resist and work hard to maintain our dignity, or regain it once it's been lost. We owe it to ourselves to have happy life, enriched with dignity, respect and peace of mind. We should remember that it means nothing to live without wealth; it means everything to live with dignity. Nobility shows from a distance. It is not offensive to deprive ourselves of wealth; it is offensive to lose our dignity.

I’ve been practicing digital art lately. This was made in the Adobe Draw app on my iPad. I wanted this drawing to be a celebration and kind of sweet renewal after everything we’ve been through.

Haven't been sick in a year. TBF, I also haven't been around tiny human germ bombs or their handlers.

Inktober 10 Pattern Pierre (from my novel Pierre and the wolves, yes, the pun is on purpose, it even work better in french), while he was searching for the pattern in the werewolf attack he has been a victim of when he was a child. He will find. That and a brand new pack.

I have been dabbling in different images to create. I guess I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone.

My backpack that had always been there is now retired.

I have been drawing eyes lately. I found a pair of eyes to practice drawing from deviantart. IDK why, but I feel better going from cartoon eyes to regular realistic eyes. I'm doing more stuff with anatomy now before I go into features again.
