I decided to sketch my favorite YouTuber, today. I'm not great at drawing people, so I often sketch people that I idolize (Or just like) the most. I think it turned out really well, so I just had to post it. Hope you guys love it.
Something with many meanings. Symbolizing, starting from the bottom, birth, trials and learning, dark times then to enlightenment which is when someone gets to the end of their lessons of their life.
This piece came out in an attempt to make sense of the world around me after discovering that I have autism and a few processing disorders. I’ve always had a hard time in relation to people and now it makes sense, but wrapping my mind around who I am and what people want is a challenge. Acyrlic paint. Done with dip pen and black Talens Indian ink. The dip pen is very old, 1967, I used it at school when I was 10. The next year we started to use fountain pens. Only the nib I used was ofcourse new.
Child portrait in graphite. It is never easy with graphite to get the density dark enough - graphite tends to be grey and glossy. This is my most successful attempt yet.
