This is a mushroom illustration done from Dana Fox's watercolor with me book. This one was quite the challenge but I am happy with the way it turned out.

Each object in the picture has its own highlight, full of attractive looks. Although it is a picture of a simple landscape about people in the countryside, every little detail is meticulously painted by the author. This painting is owned by the author "Uilliam Potter". Used by witches to restore eyesight once their bodies start to decay from being far too old. The liquid is sipped from the shell of a tortoise and eyesight is restored for a period of 6 months. (I just made that up)

A bit of a departure from my usual style. I wanted to try something a bit messy, fast, and loose. The scene is an ancient woodland in Pembrokeshire called Tŷ Canol, an atmospheric place and full of inspiration for artworks. Pen and watercolour in Seawhite sketchbook.
Gourd-face started out as a tiny doodle in my sketchbook but I couldn't stop thinking about him. So I drew several gourd-faces. This one has the unfortunate circumstance of growing on his face. Poor Gourdy. I drew him with pencil and then colored on the computer. Cheers!
