This lil fella represents my artistic freedom. I am prone to spending too much time in my head thinking about what I want to make and it ultimately results in nothing being made, or abandoning projects that didn't live up to my wild expectations. But THIS lil fella.... he doesn't look like much from the outside, but I am proud of him. Good job lil fella. I am one step closer to rediscovering what I enjoyed about art to begin with.
This was a gift for a special colleague who had already worked at my school for more than 20 years. I painted her with gouache and especially her blond hair gave me a headache. I‘ve never worked with this paint before. In the background I used special paper, charcoal and acrylic markers. Inside the card is a poem about her.
One day, in the afternoon she was sitting on that seat with a thin heart. She was feeling watercolor with full brightness hitting her soul slowly. In her heart said, "what was I do? Everything is very simple, just follow the truth about my life. But, I can't do it and back anymore". It's one of Luisa's best buddies: Padre Pio! Now in color! Doesn't seeing Capuchin colors make you feel like having a cappuccino? Just make sure you have your coffee with milk in the morning here in Italy, otherwise you will scandalize all the Italians. lol. What can I say about Padre Pio, well he knew about the Divine Will and Luisa and he had the stigmata and mystical experiences and well he's just one cool dude that don't mess around. lol (I hope this translates well enough for the italians reading this, heh).

A digital drawing I made with my fingers to challenge myself ^^ I know a lot of digital artists use their fingers but I’m used to drawing with a stylus or some kind of pen in general XD. I’ve ironically never been good with finger painting.
When I grew up, I found that most of the time I was a supporting role in this world. Then at least in my own world, I'm still me, I'm my own superhero.
