I wanted to challenge myself to draw something which is anatomically hard. I chose Breakdance as subject because it had been my passion for 16 years but I had to put an end to it due to my chronic injury.
“It is farmers who are nice to the cows and the pigs and then kill them. It’s even more hypocritical than hunters. At least the hunters don’t flatter the animals”. Do you agree?
A commission that didn't work out. They had something specific in mind but hadn't relayed that. I will learn to ask more questions in the future :) live and learn! I'll likely post the new one when it's done.

A pen and ink image designed for a holistic children's and adult's therapy services (CATS) practice in Leicester, UK. Brief was family, together, love, support. After many abstract versions they decided on this image because they felt it was more approachable, in line with their practice ethos and fun.
My daughter is loving my weird floppy cats so I drew a colouring page for her although I am thinking I might end drawing a few more and making it into a little book for her. I can't wait to see how she colours this in :)
