This illustration is based on my childhood favorite, Hans Andersen's story, the steadfast tin soldier.

Another class assignment. We had to draw the Farnese Hercules' gratuitously muscled torso 4 times from different angles and with different light sources. We had thirty minute time limits. I thought I was going to lose my mind. Medium: Charcoal on newsprint. Time: 30 minutes x 4.

Coming or going...Now that is the question of the day.

Since folks like the one of Mars, I figured I should upload this one as well. Same concept, but I think the Mars one worked better for the commission.

This is a very early doodle from Astronomy class (that is once again oriented wrong on here for goodness knows what reason).
