creativ

As usual after a creative hiatus, I did some mindless doodling to get back into making.

A cartoon eagle reclines in a bathtub filled with bubbles, looking calm and relaxed. The words 'Wind Down' are creatively placed above the bathtub.

Taking a break from photo editing to get creative in other areas... Over the Beltane weekend, my girlfriend and I watched the British dub of Urusei Yatsura over on YouTube. Yes, I assure anyone not aware, such a thing exists and my word is it hilarious (but not for the easily offended! Oh and while, I'm here, may the 4th be with you :-)

Mark E Smith... a writer and musician who never fails to motivate me, creatively speaking.

FROM ANOTHER WORLD (3 PICS)

tbh I was inspired by a silver surfer comic. Space backgrounds have always been cool to me and I just wanted to practice on creating one.

A "Mandala" I made recently. Hope you like it.

This sketch shall be turned into a print someday. Dip pen and ink in my A5 watercolour sketchbook. The background wash is the result of a palette cleaning.

Introducing the whale shark into my creative universe. :-)

Upon reflection, it seems last weekend proved good for the creative juices!

Visual lists are a good reminder of what I have to do... or what we already did!

LOST BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Buddha in crayon

A little doodle I made in class. Zentangles aren't really my thing, but I've been doodling a lot with a pen, and I love the way it looks. It's supposed to be some sort of stick-monster.

Anyone who works in a customer facing role as their day job can attest to this, I'm sure!
