3/17/2020 San Francisco. The art studio is closed because of social distancing for the Coronavirus. My teacher sent out a note with a sketch she did and suggested we do a drawing a day during this isolation, to stay calm and creative and maintain our community. A neighbor put out a bucket with free bouquets, and it inspired me to pause while I was getting dinner started and do this instead. Definitely rusty after not being in the studio for two weeks!
“I'm not someone who's particularly in touch with the way they feel. I've heard it said that you should be a 'human being' not a 'human doing', but I'm a human doing, very much so.” - Nick Cave.
Well friends just got done creating my new logo to represent my ministry. The design incorporates symbols that represent both writing poetry, commentaries, short humorous stories. This is represented by the quill pen. My fine art, commercial art represented by the painter's palette, and illustrative tools.
The colors running to the center of the palette to from the cross, represent my Christian ministry. Going to FedExs to have business cards made. Planning to use this logo for my art fair booth

Fifty of us sat in that room, each one staring at a phone or scribbling in a notebook, killing time. The lawyers asked their questions, picking us off one by one like a slow game of dodgeball. I wasn’t chosen, so I drew instead—earbuds, slouched shoulders, the hum of waiting caught in a few quick lines.
I'm working on details and silhouettes.
It's the first concept of illustration with a lantern. I'm going to do more in that style with even more details.
Redrawing finished works is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and see progress.
Have a lovely Wednesday!
Starring Joy Division: Radio, Live Transmission (1979). Let me tell you a story about dancing to the radio to escape the day. About the feeling that "no language, just sound, that's all we need know, to synchronise". About media enriching your life. About media invading your life. Tricolor linoprint using one lino plate. July, 2020.
This is kind of a sad one :/ but I thought it would be fun to draw some fan art :)! If you didn’t know, this is Powder from a show called Arcane! If you haven’t see it, I highly recommend you watch it :)!
P.S: She’s suppose to be sitting on her bed, but I thought it would ruin the background if I added it.
This artwork is not really mine as I drew it from a tutorial, but I love the way the pink comes out in every way possible. I hope you too like this pinkish scenery ;)
IDK, this drawing was inspired by this, so partial credit to whomever drew this^^: https://www.pngitem.com/middle/iboJJJm_zerotwo-zero-two-darlinginthefranxx-darling-in-zero-two/
Starring Richard O'Brian: Science Fiction Double Feature (1975). Let me tell you a story about watching classic science fiction movies in the cinema. About sitting in the backrow. About the day the earth stood still. About what went wrong for Faye Wraye and King Kong. Tricolor linoprint using one linoplate. November, 2020.
I have avoided social media for a couple of months now as it was making me unproductive, unmotivated and all-round less creative. I miss the community of creative social media so I have made this account to post my art anonymously: good or bad; finished or not; unedited and unfiltered. I hold back a lot when making art and even more so when publishing it. This is an opportunity to change that. This is a quick self-portrait just to force myself into creating anything today.
