This drawing began as just a random sketch of a face then over time i gave into my creative thirst lol. I'm new to art so this was an adventure I suppose. This is an acrylic painting that I made for someone I was close to. We would often take turns of one of us being overly affectionate and the other being playfully annoyed. I tried to capture this dynamic in the painting of these two owls. This painting was an experiment in portraying animals, something I don't do often, and using my paint knife as a tool in my paintings.

I find it awe-inspiring to watch crewed shuttles launch. This 3.5" x 4.5" acrylic on custom tiny canvas captures those first few moments after lift off. I used modeling paste to really emphasize the depth of the dust cloud, and I love that it adds a tactile element to it.
I feel only positive emotions after drawing this landscape.
It's a bit wintery, snowy, and magical.
I love the background texture. But I still need to work on the details.
Recently, I discovered the miraculous power of gouache. I ordered paints a few days ago (still waiting for the shipment). That's why there are only digital versions for now.

Day 6 of #whimsicalByMamaminia art challenge.
Inspired by Ruth Wilshaw and her book "Creative Gouache" I tried to get a gouache effect in my digital illustration. I think I did it. I'm nicely surprised with the final look.
That's why experimenting is so astonishing.
Another pouring piece. As always, started out going about it one way, and sure enough, it turned into a whole other thing. I like to think its meant to be. What do you think?
Did a doodle sketch. Didn’t really know where this idea was going when I started it then it grew into a kind of cityscape sunset in the end. I was trying to sort of do a bridge around the buildings in an abstract unidimensional way. Well thought it was creative and different in the end.
