I've been working on this since mid September. This is my first attempt at using an engraver to help with the fur texture.

My day work consists in taking good pictures, so I always hunt for fine pictures. One afternoon, walking on the beach, I admired a stunning nature scene: majestic sunset, gold sunshine, calm water, white bamboo clouds covering part of the sun. The air is cool and the landscape is calm. My camera I took out and this gorgeous scene I caught. © All Rights Reserved

showing someone a new song that you wrote or any artwork that you created needs courage. so this lovely frog, i call him tommy, wrote a song and plays it for his friends. he was worried about what they will think. of course his friends love the new song and he feels so supported. wish you a wonderful day!

I wanted to try out a more classic type of painting, done with a dry brush in Procreate.

Many beginnings. Beginning 3. The mouse was going on an adventure. But he just couldn't decide what to take with him. He wanted his favorite shoes and second favorite shoes. His tennis racket and the cactus he was given for his birthday. And so he put his house on the wheels and went on an adventure in his rolly polly house. * Starting is easy, it's the middle that is often a muddle. And I won't even mention the endings. I’ve really been enjoying ink lately - whether pen or Micron inks - it’s been a fun style to try. This was interesting, something different to a typical city street view.

Pencil crayon and black fine tip marker. A scribbling job of an art piece. Done fast with colour applied intuitively and without planning.

April has truly started off on a high note: 3 days of warm weather (a rare occurrence in an early Chicago spring), I finally did double-backs to the floor at gymnastics, found out I won a few art contests, and I got my first COVID vaccine! It's nice to have things starting to work out, even if it is just temporarily.
