Idolized Mask

This is my study of the destroyed Darth Vader mask.from the movie Star Wars, "The Force Awakens. This ink rendering was my design for the pumpkin carving contest held every year at The Chadds Ford Pa Historical Society headquarter. I chose to do this mask because it illustrates what is the ultimate destination for all who chose to live in the darkness of sin,in stead of living in the the light of righteousness. The mask belong to the villain Darth Vader , who die while trying to force his son to join the dark side of the force. So I thought the destroyed mask over the letters "The Dark Side Of The Force." reflect the Biblical principle " Sin gives birth to death." Written by Stephen J.Vattimo Oct 24,2016

The harvester

Appearances can be deceptive. The harvester can be interpreted as a monstrous creature, ready to reap or willing to help those in need.

The reincarnation of revenge.

What happens to the animal kingdom once used and abused for human entertainment? This drawing represents the spirit of those creatures, once killed for sport, taking their rightful revenge on mankind. There's no room for bullfighting in modern society.

Quest complete, time to heal.

I wanted to explore a fictional future that combined traditional fantasy races with a cybernetic future. An elven adventurer takes a health potion, depicted as a futuristic vape, before heading off on her next quest.

Terror and Peace

The Edge of Night We are living in the days on the edge of night You can see the darkness swallowing up the light As the world of man accepts wrong for right Time is short, and it is foolish to waste it By debating with skeptics that faith in God is intellectually bright We are living in the days on the edge of night The enemy’s delusion is thick So, walk by faith and not by sight Don’t lie around sunbathing in the light We must pick up the banner of Christ And work as long as there is light! God Provides

Keep Your Eyes on the Lamp Bearer. Don’t walk around aimlessly. Don’t leave your armor on your bed chamber’s floor. Keep your eyes and ears focused on Jesus. He is the lamp bearer, who illuminates the path you should travel. Don’t walk around aimlessly! Don’t leave your armor on your bedchamber’s floor. Specters are crouched in the shadows of the thicket that line your path. They plot to ambush you as soon as you wander aimlessly into the thicket. Keep your eyes and ears focused on Jesus. He is the lamp bearer, who illuminates the path you should travel. If you have walked into a fog and lost your focus, If you have walked aimlessly into the shadows the thicket If you find yourself in the clutches of the specters of the dark Don’t be anxious. Don’t lose hope. Humble yourself and call out to your commander. He will send in his angelic army to retrieve you To restore you back to the ranks of His army Don’t walk around aimlessly. Don’t leave your armor on your bedchamber’s floor! Keep your eyes and ears focused on Jesus. He is the lamp bearer, who illuminates the path you should travel. (December 3, 2016)

Master Study of Kay Nielsens 1912 illustration from In Powder and Crinoline. Graphite. 11

"She stopped to speak to him, altering her mind, and went on her way." Trying to learn more about Kay Nielsen's style. He illustrated folk and fairy tales in the early 1900s for Grimm and Disney and others. I love his dark/moody style with everything so flowy, elongated, elegant, and tragic. And his amazing compositions.

Dark Trees

I was working on nighttime or dark themes and trying to get more contrast than the last piece I made. I wanted to also work on atmospheric perspective and depth with the clouds. Overall, I am pretty happy with the outcome. This is from a reference picture my husband took from our backyard. Painted with Rebelle 6 Pro.

Woke up in the middle of the night the other week and saw the moon shining bright through the branches outside. It looked pretty neat so I got a picture and recreated it.

Ruin of Darkness

Wanted a fantasy comp but with a unique color palette and a modern subject. I also wanted the foreground to appear as a very distinct layer hoping the landscape appears downhill to the viewer. I used Barad-dûr as inspiration for the castle ruins.

Dorian Gray

• Dorian Gray • Dorian’s diabolical deal is such a fascinating, seductive idea, yet you just know, inherently, that it’ll all end in tears; that said, if such a thing could exist – a dodgy painting hidden in your attic, taking all the hits, could you consider it? Would you be tempted . . . any takers?

Lady Julianna and Wilhelm

A portrait of a pair of characters from my Victoriana tabletop game. An unlikely couple that drum up support for everyone odd and forgotten by the oppressive society they live in. As a red haired Eldren, she is considered cursed and likely to commit dark magics and as a Ratman William finds the residents of London look upon him with derision.
