As an amateur artist, painting on a canvas and “ruining it” is a fear that grappled me ever since I could first paint. I didn’t believe in myself to accurately represent my emotions and over the years it has stopped me from painting at all. But today ,i break that, i have created a piece for me ,myself and I and on that note, this sixteen year old artist finally begins her journey on doodle addicts!
I drew this wedding scenery just to see what the heart would come up with. I don’t have any wedding planning experience. If I did I’d probably have some over the top idea that I could use in my drawings...but I don’t so here it is.
I drew this up pretty quickly on a whim. I don't know what the story behind this is, what either of those creatures are called, or who that lady is. All I know is that the snail creature should be voiced by Tom Hiddleston
(HB pencil on 130mm x 120mm paper) With pandemic lockdowns happening all the time, it's created something of a Victorian feel to Christmas, so it was no surprise that I drew this for the Christmas cards I do at this time of year, along with a very odd version of a round-robin message attached to it. The prompt word toward the end of October- ominous. Ravens are known to bring ominous news! Although that may be influenced from Game of Thrones (I miss that show!), 'Dark wings, dark words", as Old Nan used to say! The word prompt was "Teeth" and I used the Zentangle pattern "Itch" for the scales on the dragon. This picture sums up the (bad?) advice given to us Anxiety ridden folks - "Focus on one thing at a time." Yeh, how's that working for you?
I created this for fun using an app called ProCreate on my iPhone. The character is called Fred Rock and he enjoys taking his shredding skills on all kinds of adventures.
Toadsworthy! If a Toad like Toadsworth became a Bishop, Lol. So a "Toad" is one of those mushroom guys from Super Mario Bro's if you can't tell. I saw toadsworth and and thought if he was in medieval times of something he could probably be a bishop or something. Then you'd have Toad priests and Paladins n stuff! You could totally make a D&D campaign with Toads and koopa's n stuff! Yeah! ... lol my imagination is weird like that.

What inspired me with this piece was an enchanted forest. The purple trees and pinkish leaves plus the somewhat colorful grass (capturing it with my camera was a little tough but its a mix of forest and deep green with some blue) and the shrooms made me think of a kind of air of mysticism and fantasy. The Elk is one of my favorite animals and I feel has a regal presence almost in it. I thought about adding more vegetation but I was afraid of adding too much. What do you think? ^^

Well...depends on how far we can bend that. Inspired by the hurricane that passed through this evening. The wind bent the largest trees to the ground. I'm happy to still have my roof.
