In “I Love Lamp,” Ty Patmore blends nostalgia, humor, and subtle unease into a surreal domestic scene where time, space, and memory feel slightly off-center. A lava lamp—softly glowing with drifting shapes—sits on a worn wooden table, acting as the sole beacon of warmth inside a room that is quietly falling apart. A melting wall clock drips down the surface like time losing its grip, while a framed picture of a UFO drifting over pine trees hints that even the outside world may not be quite right. Something I’ve been working on for fun, a project from illustrator Victor Beuren’s Domestika class “Search-And-Find Illustration in Procreate”. One of the rare Singapore-inspired artworks I’ve done, and I don’t think I’ve ever drawn so many human beings in one piece… but challenge accepted!!!
This year I'm discovering a new art medium - gouache. I'm going to paint more traditional art with gouache and watercolor.
Recently I purchased a great Domestika Course by Ruth Wilshaw: "Painting Atmospheric Landscapes with Gouache." to learn and develop my painting skills.
And here it's - the result of silhouettes practice. I'm so glad because it's a second attempt at gouache painting. I fell in love with this art medium!

Recently, I discovered the miraculous power of gouache. I ordered paints a few days ago (still waiting for the shipment). That's why there are only digital versions for now.

A strange beast . It sits by the lakes and plays tunes. Luring all who hear into its maw. It has four arms, And, typically, six fingers on each hand. Its mouth is located at its lower abdomen . I really like top imagine that it plays old 30's and 40's jazz and such ... "you keep a Nokken but you can't come in... I know you been drinkin' gin ... You been cheatin' round with other men, I'm busy and you can't come in... "
