The fairy that helps the leaves fall in preparation for the winter. She is the first of the seasonal fairies I plan to draw!

This was a labor of love. Completed with Prismcolor pencils and Copic Markers. I'm very influenced by my surroundings, and all around me are hipsters. I'm also surrounded by artist and those in studio & animation jobs that I hope to have one day. This piece reflects a point in my life of where I am physically and shows my career aspirations. And it was also just for fun because I love Rick&Morty.

Superstitions: Skull. It was claimed in Ireland for many years that if a man took an oath on a skull and was lying as he did so, he would be struck dead soon thereafter. * Maybe we should bring that back and make politicians swear on the skulls of those who lied and died. Experiment with gesso, on thin card. Then acrylic ink. Not the desired effect. So had fun doodling with a fine paint brush and the ink.

I tried himi miya gouache. And I love the colors.

A doodle from English class during the 4th rainy and cold day this week; let's hope the weather isn't foreshadowing how the rest of the school year will go. In all honesty, the only way I got through this week was courtesy of gymnastics and my fantastic coaches (shout out to Tony and Andrea). I figured I'd snap a photo of this before I give it away...
