This project consist of 3 different gouache/ watercolor paintings with pencil details on top. I actually made these for a specific purpose, but I made make more, since I really enjoyed making it!
Done with lead pencil on 11x17 80ibs strathmore drawing paper. This character is based on demon that came in real life story to U.K. family, Already have movie caled The conjuring 2. (HB pencil on 74mm x 106mm paper) A dreamscape (automatic drawing) image. A weird one showing a somewhat annoyed elf hiding amongst the trees and shrubs. The face itself was one of the first things to take form and I liked the way the dream construct became the texture of the tree branches.
Isn’t this girl something! The eye makeup and the amount and volume of black colour really turned my head. Fur and layers. Red and black hair. Something to draw with ink!

My sketchbook spread. This is actually a moleskin watercolor album which I'm mostly using to draw from life. This is sharp and spiky versus soft and fluffy. The models were the two of my house plants, and aim was a texture and light study.
