I have given my students the problem of creating 100 self portraits in 20 days on 5x7 in paper. The challenge is to create something other than an image that depicts a 'dead-pan' stare. When the brain is given a problem, it goes to work immediartely to solve that problem. I have seen some wonderful solutions. This is a tall order for teens who are sensative to judgment and still developing in thier perception. It has generated wonderful discussions of self-awareness, world view, and judgment. Those who engage in the exercise in an authentic manner have only good things to say about the experience. It is not an exercise for everyone. We are on a journey. Be Bold! Be Honest! Draw what you see. Draw what you think. -Peace
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827)
Beethoven rose at dawn and wasted little time getting down to work. His breakfast was coffee, which he prepared himself with great care—he determined that there should be sixty beans per cup, and he often counted them out one by one for a precise dose.

Alas. Alas.
Definitely need to use this word more often. Alas, I don’t have a lot of opportunities to do so.

an art project for the longest time ago. in my sixth grade homeroom, we were asked to visualize our strengths. i think i misunderstood the assignment, because all my classmates just threw a bunch of stock photos onto a slideshow lol
I uploaded one with Sidney a week ago but made a few adjustments. The two lads aren't having the best of luck with their crushes especially Servino since he Morrison threatens him frequently and with Mevlon being labeled another nobody by Adely herself.would they happily persist or become hopeless and alone?I could have put more effort in drawing the text bubbles at least :[ I had a cramp on my hand,ow!
