This was a gift for a special colleague who had already worked at my school for more than 20 years. I painted her with gouache and especially her blond hair gave me a headache. I‘ve never worked with this paint before. In the background I used special paper, charcoal and acrylic markers. Inside the card is a poem about her.
Done 2019 lead pencil. Yes i know this is bad fucked up drawing I did thas why I threw it away, NOw i look at it hmm maybe I should not done that . I can fix things on this drawing to make it better.

I began with the intention of creating a mandala, but it evolved into what looks like a cell. In my notebook next to this it says, "If the cells in my body were a reflection of my outward exterior, this would be a perfect representation."
