This painting is based on the original Dream of Nimue by mixed media artist Ida Andersen Lang. I tried to do it Justice but my paper was terrible and could not withstand many mediums. Watercolor, colored pencils, pastel, gloss varnish, on mixed media paper.

This is an acrylic painting on pre-stretched canvas. It features a pop art style of pink and teal and purple shapes in a sort of abstracted floral pattern, but wait, that's a flower there too. My first attempt at an abstract painting. It was the first time I tried using palette knives also. I didn't really have an idea in mind for this, I just kinda went with it. Came out pretty cool looking, almost like an abstract nebula. I used iridescent and interference Golden acrylic paints
For this I used a red colored pencil and inverted my drawing on Photoshop. In the dream, everything is black and I can't see anything, only feel it. Here I outlined everything I can feel so that it can be seen.

Apolonia Cacadu (her family is calling her: Polly) is a working girl. Very hard working. During the day, she works part time in three different places, and in the evenings she professionally swings on a swing above the bar counter, in the "Under parrots" pub. Because of this constant running around the city, there is little time for her to eat, and often her daily meal is just a handful of crackers (which she loves) and a few green olives with pepper. That’s why her weight is rather featherlike. She dreams about a trip to the Amazon rainforest and spreading her wings as a dancer (she’s great at dance hall and twerking).
Lots of quality family time so no sketching today, instead I will post up a drawing I made last month while procrastinating because it was far too hot for housework and I was dreaming of going back to the beach.
