End?

the wounded soldier is no longer just a man begging for mercy - he is infected with something dangerous, which makes him aggressive and possibly uncontrollable. His outstretched hand may now mean not a plea, but an attempt to grab the protagonist, which increases the sense of threat. The soldier's eyes, wide open and seemingly filled with fear or madness, now look like a sign of loss of humanity. The blood stains on his clothes are no longer just traces of battle, but perhaps the result of his own aggression. The chains in the background can be interpreted as a symbol of restriction or control over the infected - perhaps he was captured or locked up, but was able to break free.

MBFAD Concept

Recess just got more interesting at Hades Elementary when a new kid starts 2nd grade. The books float, staplers mysteriously attack the bullies, who is this kid and where did they come from?! Yeah......that's all I got. I have had this idea for over a year and just let it sit there. Main Character: Emily New Kid: No clue?!?!?!?!? Sounds like a cheesy manga title lol

Teacher for more than 20 years

This was a gift for a special colleague who had already worked at my school for more than 20 years. I painted her with gouache and especially her blond hair gave me a headache. I‘ve never worked with this paint before. In the background I used special paper, charcoal and acrylic markers. Inside the card is a poem about her.

The hopeless woman

One day, in the afternoon she was sitting on that seat with a thin heart. She was feeling watercolor with full brightness hitting her soul slowly. In her heart said, "what was I do? Everything is very simple, just follow the truth about my life. But, I can't do it and back anymore". St. Joseph of Cupertino

My Art is a form of prayer. I need the Flying Friar's intercession! He is the patron of Students and Exams! Exams are on the way and I feel so underprepared. Please pray for me everybody! St. Joseph of Cupertino, pray for us! So someone might ask how could this man fly? Well I'll answer that with a quote from someone on why the angels fly: “Angels can fly because they can take themselves lightly. This has been always the instinct of Christendom, and especially the instinct of Christian art. ...The tattered cloak of the beggar will bear him up like the rayed plumes of the angels. But the kings in their heavy gold and the proud in their robes of purple will all of their nature sink downwards, for pride cannot rise to levity or levitation. Pride is the downward drag of all things... One "settles down" into a sort of selfish seriousness; but one has to rise to a [joyful] self-forgetfulness. ... solemnity flows out of men naturally; but laughter is a leap. It is easy to be heavy: hard to be light. Satan fell by the force of gravity.” - G.K. Chesterton So let's be little, forget about ourselves and make a leap of laughter! and one day we will fly with the angels! ^_^ #stjosephofcupertino, #saint, #joseph, #cupertino, #catholic, #saints, #christian, #flying, #fly, #levitate, #levitation, #angel, #angels, #G.K.Chesterton, #Chesterton, #gkchesterton, #laugh, #Laughter, #littleness, #spiritualchildhood, #art, #digitalart

Child Jesus and His Sacred Heart

Child Jesus loves you! Jesus likes every now and then to appear in child form in order to teach us many things and relate with us. To remember to be little and rely on God our father. ^_^ He's levitating and his robe is long so you can't see his lil feet. I made this sketch awhile back but like a lot of things now I decided to color it. Digital color makes things pop! #jesus, #catholic, #christian, #littleness, #little, #spiritualchildhood, #childhood, #kid, #children, #child, #sketch, #digitalcolor, #childjesus, #sacredheart.

Smile

I haven't posted on a while but here's more digital art! I think I shaped the eyes wrong so now they just look sad but hey, I'm learning! I didn't have time to give details to the hair since I was focused on the face, but I like the shape of it. What do you think? Let me know if you have any suggestions to improve this, thanks!
