Gfox Sneaker Sweet Heart

My character re-sporting her old sneaker/shoes. I say that cause this wasn't the first time I've drawn her in a pair of shoes.

Scheel Building, April 2021.

Driven by my mishearing of something Dr. David Scheel was talking about regarding the octopus Heidi he kept in his home for a yearlong period... His documentary ‘Octopus: Making Contact’ is a lovely thing worth watching I should add!

Veronique

I’m finally done! ‘Veronique‘ is done in pencil, on Medium 80 lb drawing paper. She took me about 8 hours to complete. If you are interested in purchasing prints, please visit my website at this link: https://imagineitvirtual.wixsite.com/sedonaequineart and contact me. Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

W. B. Yeats

W. B. Yeats (1865–1939) A lyric poem of eighty or more lines took him about three months of hard labor. Fortunately, Yeats was not so careful about his other writing, like the literary criticism he did to earn extra money. “One has to give something of one’s self to the devil that one may live,” he said. “I give my criticism.”- From Daily Rituals: How Artists Work by Mason Currey “Life is a long preparation for something that never happens.” ― W.B. Inktober Day 19 - Sling

That time when Jaime Lannister has his right hand chopped off by Roose Bolton’s man, Locke. Jaime had to wear his chopped hand around his neck but when Locke and his men brought Jaime and Brienne to Roose, Roose reprimanded Locke and had Jaime’s wound bandaged and on a sling.

While you are waiting....

Found this quote a few days back, and it really resonated with me. The message is clear that we really shouldn't wait for the "perfect moment" or spend too much time looking for the "easy way" as neither of these options truly exist, they are in effect excuses for not getting on and doing what needs to be done. in order to achieve our goals. If we are honest with ourselves "now" is always the best time, and doing rather than thinking about doing is the way forward. This is a mixed media artwork as the drawing of the girl has been reworked in Photoshop along with the wording and torn paper effect all being digital. Many thanks for looking !

Alamea

Forgot to collar her collar gold but I guess black looks good too.she is a very talented, kind hearted, generous blue ghost who is also the co owner of the snazzy bar.she is older than Al (40 years old) and develops feelings for him later on they remain best friends instead.I guess you can say he friend zoned her, despite Al not knowing what being friend zoned is.He does date Ottalie this however does not make Alamea jealous.

A colour sketch of woodland near my home. I'm still not sure whether to turn this into a larger piece or not - or maybe I could switch medium and try it in watercolour?

Inktober Day 23 - Ancient

Ancient - The Children of the Forest were around are ancient, mysterious non-human race that long existed and inhabited Westeros way before the arrival of the First Men; 12,000 years before Robert’s Rebellion, according to GoT wiki! This was inspired by the incredible makeup and costume done on the tv show with a little bit of embellishment on my part!

To The Ultimate, January 2022.

Many years back, I watched that documentary ‘The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off’ about a fellow called Jonny Kennedy who lived with the skin condition EB. There’s a bit in that film where he talks about what he hopes his afterlife would be like and, for whatever reason, a couple of coffees as I was re-reading the Wikipedia article about it triggered an idea I had to scribble down...

P.G. Wodehouse

P. G. Wodehouse (1881–1975) Once, when he was beginning a Wooster-Jeeves novel, he experimented with using a Dictaphone. After he had dictated the equivalent of a page, he played it back to check it over. What he heard sounded so terribly unfunny that he immediately turned off the machine and went back to his pad and pencil. After this, according to the biographer Robert McCrum, “he might snooze a bit in his armchair, have a bath, and do some more work, before the evening cocktail (sherry for her, a lethal martini for him) at six, which they took in the sun parlour, overlooking the garden. - From Daily Rituals: How Artists Work by Mason Currey “He had just about enough intelligence to open his mouth when he wanted to eat, but certainly no more.” ― P.G. Year of the Tiger

In celebration of Year of the Tiger, I illustrated this Tiger with vector shapes and then shades the shapes with a variety of pixel brushes. Then I doodled some abstract brush strokes as the background with a red and gold color theme.
