This a figurative inspired abstract sketch using layers of pencil crayon. I wanted to express an individuality and togetherness at the same time. I also wanted to experiment with space, shape and depth.

My friend Steve from the art studio suggested we do studies in blue in honor of the #lightitblue campaign. Just when I was needing some inspiration! These are the late afternoon tree shadows at the foot of my garden.
The background of this painting is applied with paint rollers. The flying creatures were made from paint sprinkles. It was painted on an 18x12” canvas sheet.

This is an old piece created as part of a series of illustrations for a poetry book entitled "Fruit and Bones" by Elizabeth Zimmers (Yon) back in 2002. I started with watercolor and watercolor, but then realised I needed a more opaque black and switched to gouache, acrylic and brush pens for the final touches. Most of the original looseness was lost after that, however he looks more accurate now I think.
Just 5 layers to get something out there. Sorry again for not posting but I have been working on non virtual paintings and customs. So back to the art. This is just a fox oc that I call Lukki (lucky) so yknow. I have no clue what im talking about. Okay so question. Should I do a free to use base for you guys to use or just do more art?

This is my latest project as of March 15th. It was a request from my cousin. It is based off his original photograph. As you can see, i’m just putting the base shade on it. I’ll have to add the details of the fur after the shading is dark enough
I’m getting ready to do a really big drawing of a full horse for a friend so I’m just practicing the muscles and legs in little sketches. If you see anything I should change, I would love feedback.
I would like to place a red rose somewhere in the vicinity of the red circle. Should I make the background darker than the Friesian, lighter (grey-ish) than the Friesian, or keep it how it is? Any opinions/comments would be very helpful.
