Watercolour and the tiniest bit of coloured pencil and acrylic marker on watercolour paper. Size A4. Done with negative painting technique. This was inspired by a figure found in a Kinder egg from my daughter. It seems to be common sense these days to scan and fix your artwork digitally before posting it on any social media. I don't do that. I kind of like the little (or bigger) imperfections in my work, and I also believe that uploading traditional work that has been digitally fixed gives people the idea that such perfect pictures can be achieved in a traditional way.

The prompt word toward the end of October- ominous. Ravens are known to bring ominous news! Although that may be influenced from Game of Thrones (I miss that show!), 'Dark wings, dark words", as Old Nan used to say! Not the most accurate depiction, as there were still trees, nature and green... however, the Old World was becoming more and more technologically advanced as time pushed onward . We hear tales that they called this planet Earth. It is Illoniri now. And I will not let her fall the same way as that Old World.
Ever play Skyrim? That's where I made up this joke. You wander through bandit caves, you see their bedding, their cooking area, and then you find a bucket in the corner, with a leak inside of it. So, the bandit dood asks his boss where he can go potty, and bandit boss says : "You can take a Leak in that Bucket! " .... . . . . . . Okay, if it isn't funny, you don't have to tell, me, I already know. Sorry. Thanks anyway.

Putting the painting of the newt aside for now.
It was not going as I hoped (see previous post)...I still have ideas but feel like I need to work on some things before progressing. Thinking it was the eyes, so decided to work on some studies. These creatures do have fascinating eyes!

I made this a week ago when i was thinking about fond school memories I had when I was much more younger,it makes me feel sad and nostalgic how those days are long gone,where I use to had fun in the playground,when I use watch movies in class along with the teacher last but not least when I use to go to field trips, Sidney's outfit is based on an actual outfit I had worn when I was in the 5th grade
