The Soul Harvest

The Soul Harvest The Soul Harvest is done in a surrealistic style and is spiritual in content. This painting illustrates the world as being a field filled with souls from every corner of the earth needing to be saved from eternal death, which is the punishment for sin. But by hearing and understanding and receiving the good news, through faith in Jesus’s death for the sin of man, man can be forgiven and have eternal life with God. The farm tools leaning against the fence are an invitation to those who know Jesus to pick up their God-given talents and go into the world and use them to spread the good news. The inside of the barn, with the wheat sheaths standing up, illustrates the souls that have received eternal life through the work of the believer, and the crown is their reward from God. In Plain Sight

This quick sketch of an impressionist painting is a reminder to me of how we cannot see anything until we are taught to see it. I was enjoying the painting because of the way Tarbell captured light, when a man and his wife joined me. The man said to his wife: "This is a wonderful painting, but I wonder whose lap the baby is on.". I was shocked because I was not able to see the baby till he mentioned that there was one. I noticed that it was indeed difficult to tell whose lap it was on. It was a transformative and humbling experience.

Train Journey Moments - 2

This is the 2nd piece that I painted during my train journey. I painted this scene after getting mesmerised by the view from the train window. We just passed by a lake which had flowers on the riverbank. A group of girls ( students ) got excited when I showed some of my paintings. So I gifted one of them this (●'◡'●)

my forever travel partner

this was a sweet gift I did for Christmas for my mom & dad - they love traveling and Telluride, CO, has become their second home! my mom loves Aspen trees and the mountains, found it only fitting they be included in this collaged painting I did for them. I used gouache paint for all landscape and watercolors for my parents. It was fun combining the two paint types and my first attempt using gouache paint - I loved it!

I was scared of cows when I was small and felt nothing special after I grew up, but I realized how they are cute when I traveled in Laos. I was so surprised to see cows were walking freely without any human on a quiet street in the outskirts of the city. A calf one of them looked us curiously but avoided eye contact shyly. It was really cute

Beautiful day outside.

This is another illustration with someone just sitting outside enjoying the day or night. This is not someone existing it’s just some female character. Great to make this more elaborate in terms of styles while adding beautiful effects.

Stay for Nothing: Album 6

The entity in the picture is sort of like a grim reaper, except not. At the end of your life, you will find yourself in an eternal plane of nothingness. You encounter him; and you are presented with two options: to either accept your fate and have your memory wiped, as you are reincarnated, or you are able to have your soul taken out of your very body, have it turned into an orb, and you can stay for as long as you want until you are ready to go: hence, "Stay for Nothing." Drawn with FireAlpaca.
