The observational sketch was done in ink. One of my few urban sketches. The grandeur of the entire cathedral was too large for me to capture in my drawing but here's a little of what I did.
A color pencil drawing of Debbie Harry - singer with the group Blondie. Reference used was from back in the 1970's. Derwent Artists color pencils on thick cartridge paper. Many thanks for looking.
Frenchtown Station looking fro Slim’s Bar-B-Q in Paducah, Kentucky. From a beautiful @frenchtownstation photo (hope my friends there don’t mind).
Pen: LAMY Safari
Pencils: STAEDTLER graphite and Prismacolor color pencils
Sketchbook: Moleskine
In this photo I drew two Betta fish, a clock and a female in a dark background. Drawing this picture was more of a self expression. The two betta fish expressed conflict; the clock expressed running out of time and the female I guess would represent myself. I was in a dark period while drawing this, but happy to say, I’ve managed to pull through my obstacles =)
pen, gouach and water color on paper
This has been one of the most spectacular falls I can ever remember in Paris, the golden leaves blowing gently in crisp clear blue skies really inspired me.
