Like a moldy bridge, the Internet has trolls lurking underneath. Reddit: Unpopular Opinions is a particularly fetid spot for these mouth-breathers. It’s simmering with people ready to spew their most bigoted thoughts in the name of edginess/independence from the norm. The angel featured here looks a little bit like she was barfed out by Tim Burton. I drew these while I was watching Westworld. (Feel free to just talk about Westworld in the comments if you'd like.)

Sewing paper is lots of fun. Taking a lot of my cats and sewing them to pretty paper. Not sure what I will do with them after that, but they are fun to make.
Fineliner sketch depicting the unruly world that is the press, i struggle with many news outlets and the odds they use to sell and manipulate people. It can cause real suffering, real negativity, real bigotry. Blood is on all there hands.
Tried sewing this guy to some colorful paper. I am not that bad at sewing, BUT the sewing machine is from 1950 and doesn't work very well, but I think the imperfections makes it look cool.
It's cool how the internet can bring people together from far away places to make things. "Graham's Up the Tree" is based on a true story from the life of author mbpardy ... He's in Australia - I'm in Seattle area. When he posts these images at his page I see comments from people who grew up with real life versions of these characters I drew -- People that actually looked out the window and saw this little guy high up at the top of a tree... where no one else could go.
My mind is on Puna so much lately. I love Hawaii...was born there and rediscovered it as an adult. I stay in Puna area when I go, in little houses I rent, or once, housesitting for a friend. This drawing was made one day when Mom and Dad and I went to Pohoiki to sketch. This little cottage and park is in the path of the flow and may already be gone. You can no longer drive there as the roads have been cut off by the lava flow. My heart goes out to all Hawaii residents dealing with this massive lava flow, and the VOG that goes with it.
There might be a few weird reflections in this as I had to take a pic of it on my screen to get a file large enough....I gave the original to a friend who lives near the park.
