A ring inspired by this year's prompts for Inktober. Can anyone tell me why it keeps uploading sideways? Also sorry I've missed the last three days, I was driving home, regular updates will continue!
So I worked for a few hours on a drawing of McCree that I was going to post today. However I am a dummy and didn't save anything since the sketch layer and then my drawing program crashed.... :'( So new plan! I had this old painting of D.Va I never finished but I really wanted to post it! So I kinda quickly finished it up and here she is! This is one of my first attempt at digital painting so it's not great but I am pretty content with it.
Went off a different prompt list today because I really wanted to draw something chill. Also I wanted to do some reference pose practice. PIntrest is a god send for trying to figure out how body's move. XD. This one is much more simple since I wasn't too focused on finishing the full color. Instead I played around with a few of my drawing programs tools. Tried to use its coloring mask, patterns, and texture brushes to get a simple yet readable mood.
Adobe just released a new drawing and painting app Fresco for the iPad. Here are few experimental images. I have to say I am impressed with the natural media brushes and the interface.
UPDATE: I was working on this illustration a while back, but I had no spare time and had to put it aside. The composition was too busy, but now I think it looks a little better. I made a few major changes, like:
• Made adjustments to light sources
• Created bolder outlines
• Got rid of the Knight reading over the dragon's shoulder
Back in May, I wanted to do the #mermaychallenge, an online event where artists draw and share their mermaid illustrations during the entire month of May. But I knew I had limited time, with everything happening that month (buying new home/moving/fixing up the old home to sell), and a fulltime job. I created Mer-Kat, a hybrid kitten/mermaid. I felt this was such a fun new character to explore. Life underwater with a feline-based personality.
This is a traditional art illustration produced with Copic markers and Prismacolor colored pencils, on a blanks sketch cover for a Batman '66 comic. it features Yvonne Craig and Julie Newmar as Batgirl and Catwoman from the 1966 Adam West batman series. See more at Sketchcardsandcovers.com
