Bumblebee

Flight of the bumblebee The lifecycle begins in spring, when rising temperatures awaken a queen bumblebee that has been hibernating alone in the soil. The queen will have spent the entire winter underground, using up reserves of energy stored as fat in her body. When she first emerges, she feeds on flowers, drinking nectar to gain energy. She will then begin to search for a suitable nest site. Frequent nesting sites include holes in the ground, tussocky grass, bird boxes and under garden sheds.

Botanical Hawk

Botanical Hawk Design I drew for my former junior college alumni banquet. They had it printed on a giant canvas for people to color. It started out as a small doodle and transpired into something else. ha ha. Made this with Sakura Micron Ink ( 01 and 005) on Bristol with Digital Editing to finish.

I created this piece yr 2016 as portfolio to get into a company doing sketch card art, but by asking some sketch card artists on this site about how much you get paid for doing this sketch card art`and it was so ridiculous that I decided to not send this portfolio piece to the trading card company also you have to give up your original artwork to the company cuz they need to put this sketch card art in the pack of trading cards so lucky buyer will get the original sketch card that is the idea. For how much they paying the artists for giving up their original art did not make any sense to me . Done 2016 with color pencil and ink on 2.5 x 3.5 bristol. It is sketch card. Original art $20+s/h and I am open for commission using color pencil or lead pencil for original artwork. Sizes range from 8.5x11, 9x12, 11x14, 11x17. The Commission rate starts from $20 and up. kaputnik

Kaputnik. Kaputnik is a conjunction of the word "kaput" (meaning "broken, damaged, destroyed") and "Sputnik" (Russian robotic spacecraft). Meaning is obvious: something which hasn't come up to expectations. Suggested by @dimetartemid who disappeared since. Come back! https://www.instagram.com/p/CriphjGgO_F/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Diversity and Unity Mural

This is my contribution to a Diversity and Unity Mural. The meaning behind it is how we are all different and have our own backgrounds, but we're all connected to each other like the roots show. We are stronger unified, and our progression in making the world a better place is like this plant, it can only grow with care and under the right conditions. Together we can make a better future, while still keeping our roots because of their importance to our identities.
