Là on lon se meurt le sable coulera toujours - Here where we die the sand will always flow

This drawing was basically a woman's clip of a music video that lately inspired me to release my ideas without judging the lack of logic in the process. I decided to let go and apply whatever came to mind. I am now proud of this work which can support everyone's interpretation. Its title is mine.

One never knows where to find humans

"One never knows where to find humans", said the flower to the prince. "The wind blows them away. They have no roots, and that makes their life very difficult." - The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. https://www.instagram.com/p/CpVMu2kupkm/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Master Study of Kay Nielsens 1912 illustration from In Powder and Crinoline. Graphite. 11

"She stopped to speak to him, altering her mind, and went on her way." Trying to learn more about Kay Nielsen's style. He illustrated folk and fairy tales in the early 1900s for Grimm and Disney and others. I love his dark/moody style with everything so flowy, elongated, elegant, and tragic. And his amazing compositions.

A Family of Trees. Whimsical illustration - Day 16.

I changed the composition, types of silhouettes, and background texture a few times. I didn't have any expectations about the finished work. It was a creative flow with many changes. I think the creative process looks like this. Don't be afraid to try. If you make your art digitally, it's simple. You can: - create a new layer, - use shortcut Ctrl+Z. In traditional art, it depends on the art supplies you use. Sometimes you can try more times. Sometimes you need to start again. But any attempt is better than giving up.
