This poignant black and white pencil and ink drawing captures the essence of a dark, broken man with sand slipping through his fingers, symbolizing the passage of time and lost hopes. I changed the composition, types of silhouettes, and background texture a few times.
I didn't have any expectations about the finished work. It was a creative flow with many changes. I think the creative process looks like this.

If you make your art digitally, it's simple. You can:
- create a new layer,
- use shortcut Ctrl+Z.
In traditional art, it depends on the art supplies you use. Sometimes you can try more times. Sometimes you need to start again.
But any attempt is better than giving up.
Whenever I make an artwork. I start with a random image and just start flowing while I edit. I belief that this will lead the result to deflect the state of my mind. In this case it was a photo of me and my cat. Take a moment a find the message this picture has to offer you. I hope that I was able to add something to your flow of thoughts.
