Work in progress.

We took the Tuesday after Memorial Day off and rode bikes into GG Park. We found a mostly empty patch of green to picnic and play across from the Conservatory of Flowers. Our social distancing signs are blue with four white arrows pushing four people apart. Every time I look at them, I think, what if people think the length of those arrows is actually 6 feet? What do yours look like?

I wanted to do a video and this was my first recording. Doodle on napkin using zig perishables.

Holbein watercolors on Arches 100% cotton cold pressed watercolor paper

Dried lavender, using charcoal pencil. It smeared in my sketchbook later on, but I'm okay with that.

This piece was made only by using sharpies and then red paint. I was inspired by Julia Hill`s beautiful work to create this.

Sharpie lily bouquet

For this piece I used acrylic paints and acrylic markers. My inspiration was my love of tattoo flash and traditional/neo-traditional tattoo designs. I grew up flipping through pages of tattoo flash catalogues and the art inside was a huge influence in my own art. Some of these pieces are my versions of popular designs and some are originals.

Wake up your creativity! Take a piece of paper, something to write on, and draw a few lines/circles/squiggles. Then more and more, and so on... Let your imagination run wild. You can create something beautiful out of nothing.
