Acrylic on Paper. I painted this as an exercise, fully expecting to fail, but walked away with this nifty piece instead. I've recently been growing a lot in my painting ability, and this was a big victory for me.

The only problem was that they didn't speak any English. They did know some French and armed with French-English phrasebook, dictionaries and enthusiasm they brought forth this book. One of my favorite cartoon tomboys and my favorite character from Recess.This actually turned out well since I took long coloring (as usual) but i'm still considering switching to Photoshop.Everybody should seriously watch Recess,It's an outstanding,delightfully fun,memorable cartoon with a diverse cast of characters (like Hey Arnold)It deserves more love and praise.

I haven't drawn him in a long while,he's actually easier to draw than other of my demon OC's it's just that I need to practice anatomy to draw a full character sheet of him.i drew his head too big I think maybe it's just his hair or how his other shoulder isn't visible nonetheless I finally drew him (I can't draw him with a crown because I haven't designed one for him yet) I may or may not finish this at all

Back in May, I wanted to do the #mermaychallenge, an online event where artists draw and share their mermaid illustrations during the entire month of May. But I knew I had limited time, with everything happening that month (buying new home/moving/fixing up the old home to sell), and a fulltime job. I created Mer-Kat, a hybrid kitten/mermaid. I felt this was such a fun new character to explore. Life underwater with a feline-based personality.

Lindsey and I recently went on a date night while on vacation in Florida. Fantasy and reality are two very different things. I also figured this was a great way to introduce DAT (Die Alone Together) Comics. I will hopefully upload a new strip every week. I hope you enjoy it!
Acrylic painting, made this while thinking about lighting bugs dancing on the waters surface and fish jumping out of the water trying to catch them during a full moon. It was a good memory; fishing on the lake at night.

I generally make marks on something every day, but I'm really TRYING to do it purposefully in one single journal at a time. I also have super ADHD, which means I pretty much never go up to my actual studio and usually only use what's out on my desk, because out-of-sight-out-of-mind.
